COVID Vaccination and Shifting Narratives: Masks

Share:

It is not surprising that masks wound up being pushed on the vaccinated (along with everyone else) — even though they were earlier told that masks were not needed if they got the clot shot.

Shifting narratives are needed since the COVID shot does not stop people from getting COVID (or flu-like) symptoms (even though I doubt COVID itself exists): many who get the shot (which is designed to harm) are among the most sickly of people (if they initially even survive the shot).

Indeed, “breakthrough” cases of COVID (or what may be really the flu or something else) cannot be hidden (see here and here). The vaccine has been exposed as a fake: it not only fails to protect your health, but it destroys it.

So the fake narrative needs support from another fake narrative: the ongoing “need” for masks in addition to vaccines. (“You didn’t get sick from being vaccinated, but from not wearing a mask when you should have!”)

Of course, perhaps the main reason for the continuation of masks is that masks play a role in the Globalist plan to social engineer us, destroy our health, divide and conquer, and so on.

In any case, here is a general chronology of the shifting goalposts regarding masks — both prior to, and after, the release of the COVID vaccine.

Government authorities oppose use of masks at the beginning of the COVID Scamdemic (March 2020) (More quotes here)

The CDC, as reported March 3:

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said it “does not recommend that people who are well wear a facemask to protect themselves from respiratory diseases, including COVID-19,” referring to the disease caused by the new coronavirus. Rather, experts caution that putting on a face mask without proper fitting and training could actually increase your risk.

Anthony Fauci, leader of the Trump Administration’s White House Coronavirus Task Force and COVID-19 chief alarmist, said this to “60 Minutes” March 8:

There’s no reason to be walking around with a mask. When you’re in the middle of an outbreak, wearing a mask might make people ‘feel a little better’ and it might even block a droplet but it’s not providing the perfect protection the people think that it is. And often, there are unintended consequences. People keep fiddling with the mask and they keep touching their face.”

Government authorities urge use of masks the very next month (April 2020)

(Note that this was prior to the release of COVID vaccines. The mask goalposts were already arbitrarily shifting, exposing the mask narrative from the outset as disingenuous. This would in turn expose the vaccine narrative to come as disingenuous, since it would go on to embrace an absurd “mask on, mask off, mask on” policy.)

Per the CDC:

On April 3, 2020, the White House CoronaVirus Task Force and CDC announced a new behavioral recommendation to help slow the spread of coronaVirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) by encouraging the use of a cloth face covering when out in public (1).

And:

CDC recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain (e.g., grocery stores and pharmacies), especially in areas of significant community-based transmission.

CDC also advises the use of simple cloth face coverings to slow the spread of the virus and help people who may have the virus and do not know it from transmitting it to others. Cloth face coverings fashioned from household items or made at home from common materials at low cost can be used as an additional, voluntary public health measure.

Cloth face coverings should not be placed on young children under age 2, anyone who has trouble breathing, or is unconscious, incapacitated or otherwise unable to remove the cloth face covering without assistance.

The cloth face coverings recommended are not surgical masks or N-95 respirators. Those are critical supplies that must continue to be reserved for healthcare workers and other medical first responders, as recommended by current CDC guidance.

Some local governments took the advice further:

Local governments around the country have taken the federal government’s new advice that masks are in fact a helpful protective item. Some are going further by mandating masks be worn outside under threat of fining and punishment for failing to do so.

CDC says the vaccinated no longer need masks (May 13, 2021)

Months after the release of the COVID death shot (released December 2020), the vaccinated could finally stop wearing masks.

CDC Director Rochelle Walensky states:

Anyone who is fully vaccinated can participate in indoor and outdoor activities, large or small, without wearing a mask or physical distancing. If you are fully vaccinated, you can start doing the things that you had stopped doing because of the pandemic. We have all longed for this moment when we can get back to some sense of normalcy.

Not surprisingly, she gives herself room to wiggle, anticipating another goalpost change:

And lastly, this past year has shown us that this virus can be unpredictable. So if things get worse, there is always a chance we may need to make change to these recommendations.

CDC recommends even the vaccinated wear masks in certain settings (July 27, 2021)

It didn’t take long to go back to the masks. The pretext was the “Delta Variant.” According to the CDC:

On July 27th, CDC updated its guidance for fully vaccinated people, recommending that everyone wear a mask in indoor public settings in areas of substantial and high transmission, regardless of vaccination status.

CDC: More than 70% of Americans can remove masks (February 25, 2022)

Freedom at last! But this “freedom” is coupled with a statement from CDC Director Rochelle Walensky that more goalpost shifting might happen in the future:

More than 70% of Americans should be able to remove their masks indoors, including inside schools, under new metrics outlined Friday the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that represent a seismic shift in how the public health agency plans to measure COVID-19 risk.

“None of us know what the future holds for us and for this virus,” Walensky said. “And we need to be prepared and we need to be ready for whatever comes next. We want to give people a break from things like mask wearing when our levels are low, and then have the ability to reach for them again if things get worse in the future.”

The current CDC recommendation (updated May 11, 2023)

And the expected goalpost shifting continues. Since the COVID shot is useless, “layered prevention strategies” involving both masks and vaccines are recommended:

Layered prevention strategies — like staying up to date on vaccines and wearing masks — can help prevent severe illness and reduce the potential for strain on the healthcare system. Wear a mask with the best fit, protection, and comfort for you.
