The SINFUL & DANGEROUS Allure of Vaccinating for the Praise of Man

Part of living for Christ is taking care of our health and having concern for the health of others. The Sixth Commandment is important. But we are also not to live for the praise of men — which, being sinful in and of itself — can also lead to a violation of this commandment.

How is this?

While it should be a given that we should avoid harming our bodies, for one reason or another we may unknowingly do so while seeking man’s applause. Sin has consequences. But because the allure of man’s praise can be so strong, in some cases, we may even knowingly harm ourselves as a result of seeking applause.

As teenagers, it may have been smoking “to be cool.” Or taking drugs and getting hammered at parties. Or — exposing oneself to danger on a dare.

As adults, it might be vaccination. Sure — some vaccinate simply because they sincerely (but wrongly) believe that it is good for their health. But vaccinating to be “cool” or “popular” or even a “paragon of virtue”?? Yes — this surely is why some do it.

And with human nature being what it is, surely many of such cases do so suspecting, or even knowing, that vaccination may harm or kill them (or even their children, when faced with the temptation to virtue-signal what a “good parent” one is).

The allure of vaccine praise is in our face.

  • Celebrities boasting about being vaccinated.
  • In social media circles (the “I got my COVID vaccine” graphic)
  • Societal narratives (“You are cool and a hero if you are a pro-vaxxer, and evil if you are an antivaxxer”)

The Satanic Globalist elites understand the power of control via social acceptance, and so they foster the psychology, narratives, and conditions that tempt us to seek man’s acceptance and praise:

  • Guilt manipulation
  • Peer pressure
  • Appeal to self-righteousness
  • Fear of man
  • Herd mentality (wanting to follow the crowd)

Scripture opposes vaccination, being based on lies and dangerous to one’s health. We have already addressed this thoroughly. But Scripture also opposes conforming to the world and seeking the praise of man — a motive for all kinds of evils, vaccination included:

The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe. (Proverbs 29:25, ESV)

You shall not fall in with the many to do evil, nor shall you bear witness in a lawsuit, siding with the many, so as to pervert justice, nor shall you be partial to a poor man in his lawsuit. (Exodus 23:2, 3)

Woe to you, when all people speak well of you, for so their fathers did to the false prophets. (Luke 6:26)

If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. (John 15:19)

Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.

Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. (Matthew 6:1-4)

And so, due to its fatal fruit, vaccinating for man’s praise is deadly.

Again, surely some, perhaps many, vaccinate despite knowledge (or at least suspicion) that vaccines are useless and deadly. For some, status and “being cool” are everything.

But cutting your life short is not so cool. And you won’t feel so cool if you have to answer to God for poisoning yourself via vaccination. Your peers won’t be around to offer applause for vaccinating then — although they may be trembling in shame and fear.

Of course, those who rightfully oppose vaccines can also succumb to the temptation of the praise of man regarding those in their own circles.

When around our peers we must avoid talking as if we are so smart and righteous because we saw through the false vaccine narratives. If we who are Christians discern the dangers and evils of vaccination, it is not because we are inherently morally superior, but because of the grace of God. When we become arrogant we risk God’s righteous chastening, which may include challenges to our own health — despite being non-vaccinated.

Moral of the story: live for God, the source of life — not for the deadly praise of man.
