California Protest: Former Marine Invokes God & Asks Police: Does a Tough Guy Use a Baton on a Mom?

Share:

We need more God-honoring warriors like this to lead the way.

Watch this powerful video of a former marine (Cordie Lee Williams) appealing to the conscience of police officers during a California protest. At the end, the officers back off. Maybe the hand of God pushing them away?

Some quotes:

“I’d rather lose my job than lose my soul.”

“What are you going to tell your little boy or your little girl tonight? That you took your baton and crushed somebody’s skull that was a mom? Is that what a tough guy does? That’s not what honor, courage, and commitment means in the Marine Corp.”

“We’re going to pray for you guys tonight, we’re going to pray for your families. And we’re going to pray that God kinda nudges your shoulder … and says ‘You know what? … this is wrong.'”

“The fruits of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22 says that joy, kindness, peace and love are the fruits of the Spirit. And so I want you to do a gut check right now — are you representing joy, kindness, peace and love by standing up [for] Gavin Newsom’s orders?”

  1. Please edit where you referenced him as ex-Marine. It is taken as a person insult to refer to a Marine as an “ex”. They prefer “former”.
    Thank you!

  2. Shelly,
Made the edit in the title and the body of the post. Didn’t know this. Thanks for the heads up!
