Pray that God Opens the Eyes of Senator Richard Pan

Share:

Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
(Matthew 22:39b)

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
(1 Timothy 2:1-4)

California state Senator Richard Pan needs no introduction for many who discern the dangers and evils of vaccination. He is publicly the leading force behind vaccine mandates in California; the “face” of California’s vaccine tyranny. His influence may embolden other states to follow his example. Much blood is on his hands.

Instead of reacting with hatred, however, those of us who are Christians should pray for him: both for his conversion to Christ, and that God opens his eyes on the vaccine issue.

We should pray for his conversion because, of course, as Christians, we should want all to be saved.

And if God opens Pan’s eyes on the vaccine issue: Just imagine the hit that the vaccine agenda could take if Pan repents and becomes a public opponent of vaccination. One of the greatest proponents of vaccine persecution courageously does an about-face, influencing many in the public to likewise reconsider vaccines — perhaps even other public officials.

Perhaps Senator Pan would become the “Apostle Paul” of vaccine opposition: once a zealous persecutor, now a zealous ally.

It’s easy to be cynical, given the way things are going, but let’s not forget Who’s in sovereign control: the great God Almighty. He may indeed choose to grant our prayer request on this issue, as “The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.” (Proverbs 21:1)
